Elate me to rapture
Gift me mansions and money
Carry me to wonderlands
What’s life?
Without dreams
Meaningful or pointless
Colourful or tasteless
A dreamless life
Boring and bland
Welcome the dreams
Enjoy the grandeur and terror

I am not a poem-person. So, my clueless comment could be pointless.
The title is "first person plural" and the verbs all are for "first person singular". Isn't it?
(I don't know if grammar matters? Forgive me for my ignorance)

Sands: Poem-person or not; your critical eye is always welcome. Grammar does matter. My blunder of titling without thinking made grammar go for a toss.
I guess you wanted to say that the title was plural and the lines were in third person singular. Right? I’ve made the corrections.

ABout dreams, this verse was so beautiful

Drop me without warning
Chase me like a mad dog
Haunt me like a ghost"
because so many dreams do chase us and then drop us and sometimes haunt us.....of course, they do offer mansions and money and thats when they drop us too often:)
